Cómo Medir A Tu Perro

1.) La parte más ancha del pecho (que se muestra como "Pecho" en la ilustración superior)

Para medir el pecho, mida el pecho en su punto más ancho, que generalmente se encuentra justo detrás de las patas delanteras. Si el perro tiene un perímetro grande en las patas traseras, es recomendable elegir una talla más, ya que se gastará tela adicional.

2.) La longitud de la columna vertebral (que se muestra como "Longitud de la espalda" en la ilustración superior)

Para medir la espalda, mida a lo largo de la columna vertebral del perro desde la base del cuello hasta la base de la cola. Esto es desde la base del collar hasta donde se inserta la cola. Sin embargo, es importante tener en cuenta el perímetro del perro, así como la medida de la línea superior.

3.) La circunferencia del cuello (que se muestra como "Cuello" en la ilustración superior)
La talla del cuello determina si el perro estará cómodo con nuestra ropa o arneses. Si el cuello está demasiado apretado, el perro puede tener dificultad para respirar.

Lo más importante es la medida del pecho; si la medida del pecho es correcta, las demás medidas también lo serán.

For the chest measurement, measure the chest at its widest point, which is typically right behind the front legs. If the dog has a large girth towards the back legs, going up a size is always a smart choice, since some additional fabric will be used up.

2.) The Length of the backbone (shown as Back Length on the illustration above)

For the back measurement, measure along the dog's backbone from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. This is from the base of where the collar rests to where the tail is attached. However, it's important that the dog's girth be taken into account as well as the top line measurement.

3.) The Circumference of the neck (shown as Neck on the illustration above)
The neck size determines whether the dog will be comfortable while wearing our clothing or harnesses. If the neck is too tight, the dog may have trouble breathing.

The most important is the chest size, so if the chest size is okay the other measurements should be okay.
